Here’s the first look at Tuukka Rask’s Winter Classic mask. He’ll play tomorrow night in Buffalo, and then Bruce Cassidy will make a decision on who will start this years NHL’s Winter Classic.

Pretty fire. The Bruins will be without Brad Marchand (illness) and Charlie McAvoy (LBI) tomorrow night as they will look to snap their two game losing skid in Buffalo.

B’s assistant equipment manager Matty Falconer had the design made.

The B’s will also most likely be without David Backes for the New Years Day game, he’ll have a hearing later today for an illegal check to the head of New Jersey’s Blake Coleman last night. He’s been suspended before, wouldn’t be surprised if he was served 2 or more games for last night’s hit.

If Backes is out, Bruce Cassidy says that Anders Bjork (currently in Providence) is in the mix for a potential recall. The Notre Dame alum is itching to play.

It’s time to right the ship after a dogshit performance last night, and get back in the win column and ready for Tuesday’s matchup against the Chicago Blackhawks. LFG.
